Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a pathway for individuals seeking to immigrate to Canada. Through the SINP, the Province of Saskatchewan invites residency applications from non-Canadians who wish to make Saskatchewan their home. Successful applicants nominated by the SINP are then eligible to apply for permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The SINP offers several program categories, including:

  1. International Skilled Worker: Designed for skilled workers who want to work and live in Saskatchewan. To assess eligibility, applicants can use the SINP Points Calculator, which considers factors such as education, work experience, language proficiency, and age.

  2. Saskatchewan Experience: Intended for foreign nationals who already reside and work in Saskatchewan.

  3. Entrepreneur and Farm: Geared toward those planning to start a business or purchase and operate a farm in Saskatchewan.

The SINP provides competitive application processing times and assistance from provincial immigration officers. Applicants should ensure accurate applications and provide valid documentation. While working with an immigration consultant is an option, it’s important to note that no consultant receives an immigrant quota from the Province of Saskatchewan. Remember that successful SINP candidates, when applying for permanent resident status with IRCC, will be identified as SINP nominees.
